Whoa. I just brushed my teeth with Tom's of Maine orange-mango… - Death drives a white Honda Civic

Whoa. I just brushed my teeth with Tom's of Maine orange-mango toothpaste. A weirdly disturbing experience, because I am used to "minty freshness." And there is no "mint" in orange-mango [my junior high football coach used to yell that constantly]. It was as though I accidentally put a tropical skittle on my toothbrush instead of toothpaste.

Anyway! In much more exciting news, my new band, Goodbye Victoria, is playing at the Sunset Tavern tomorrow! I would like all of you to go! Since you can't always get what you want, I know that not all of you can go. BUT, turns out, if you try sometime, you just might find you get what you need [thirty or so British schoolchildren told me that], and that would be for SOME of you to show up. Because it's not as fun to play for a crowd of strangers! Anyway, show starts at 9pm, $6, and a dollar off if you dress in costume. [Which is a mediocre amount off, if you ask me, but I don't make the rules. No, W.T. Sunset III makes them]

Speaking of costumes, boy am I uninspired to dress up this year. Which I guess isn't surprising, since this has been by far my Least Creative Year Ever [I do, however, keep coming up with BRILLIANT livejournal entries while at work, only to forget about them by the time I get home. I do remember that they truly were brilliant, though. That part sticks.] What are you guys dressing up as? I have one idea, but I fear that it's too difficult to do it well, and if I'm not going to do it well, it won't work. Anyway, let's hear 'em!

Hup! Time for work! And this entry was about to get brilliant, too...

Whoa, black licorice toothpaste... I... don't know about that. But I will try it if I see it, because what the hey, weird toothpaste flavors are always worth a shot in my book!

It'd be aaaawesome if Miranda made it to the show, too.

Your costume sounds both hilarious and frightening!

I've always been fond of couples costumes, and costumes that aren't Halloween themed (ghost, witch, etc). For example, Cerra and I have thought about going as Ann and Nancy Wilson some year, except it might be to subtle. Oh, I mainly enjoy when a couple dresses as a different kind of couple. Like you and Melissa could be Wayne and Garth from Wayne's World, or Beavis and Butthead or something.

I can say with 95% accuracy that I will see you guys at the Sunset on Friday.

Wayne and Garth is a reeeeeeally awesome idea! I don't know what my problem is this year--I just don't want to put in the effort required to make a costume, I guess. Lame, Mark, lame.

It'd be awesome to see you at the show tomorrow!

I can kind of picture what a sexy viking might look like, but sexy astronaut is just... confusing! And, haha, awesome! "Cute and ironic" is good, though! AND SO IS 'SEXY'!

In the spirit of un-sexy costumes, I'm dressing as an 8-year old boy. I tested it last night. I'm wearing ugly track shorts pulled up over a shirt that's tucked in too much, and gross tennis shoes, a baseball cap that's slightly too big, band-aids everywhere, and i drew marker all over myself. I'm thinking for an upcoming party, I may take a friend's arm cast that she had removed recently and affix it to my arm.
